Silvana Bevilacqua is a Vancouver illustrator with an Italian background, an Australian husband, two Canadian children, a Border Collie and a cat. As well as publishing, over the years she has worked in graphics, packaging, fabric design and cartooning. But illustration is her first love, including fashion illustration and especially pictures for children. She uses brilliant saturated colours in her artwork, and whenever possible depicts richly patterned textiles. A sense of humour is nearly always and ingredient too!
