Maggie Smith is the illustrator and author of ten trade picture books. She has also illustrated many books by other authors, as well as various magazine and educational projects. Her lively, expressive characters are recognizable whether they are boys, girls, bunnies, or mice, and she is known for creating warm, cozy, happy environments that the reader can get lost in. Working traditionally for the most part, she usually sketches and finishes up using Photoshop (and has no problem sending or uploading her work in any required digital form).
An experienced crafter and pattern-maker, Maggie can design, write and/or illustrate any kind of craft project.
